Weeknights at MeowTown: Kids Craft Cluband Cats & Games Night

We'll say it proudly: MeowTown is the best — and literally the coolest — cat cafe and cat lounge in the area. Our space is always kept at a fresh, comfortable temperature, so you and the cats can relax in total comfort no matter what the weather's doing outside.

Our lounge is cozy any time of day, but two evenings a week it turns into something extra special. On Thursdays, the craft table comes out for the kids. On Fridays, the board games come out for the grown-ups (and grown-up-ish). Here's everything you need to know about two of our favorite weekly traditions — and how to join in.

Kids Craft Club — Thursdays, 5:00–6:00 PM

Kids Craft Club is a weekly creative hour where kids make a cat-themed project surrounded by, well, actual cats. It's equal parts art class and cuddle session. Each week brings a brand-new craft to make and take home, so no two Thursdays are quite the same — and there's always a purring supervisor nearby to inspect the glitter.

What makes it special:

- A fresh, cat-themed take-home project every single week.

- Hands-on creative time in our warm, home-like lounge with our adoptable cats.

- A calm, screen-free hour where kids can create, connect, and unwind with animals.

- A gentle, natural way for children to learn kindness and care around rescue cats.

The details:

- When: Every Thursday, 5:00–6:00 PM (50 minutes of craft time).

- Who: Kids — bring the whole crew of little artists.

- Membership: Kids Craft Club is $120/month and includes 4 sessions (one every Thursday), each with a weekly take-home cat-themed project.

Because it runs as a monthly membership, your child gets a consistent weekly rhythm of creativity and cat time — perfect for building a new after-school tradition.

Cats & Games Night — Fridays, 6:00–8:00 PM

End your week the coziest way possible. Cats & Games Night is a relaxed, two-hour evening of board games, good company, and plenty of feline photobombs. Bring a friend, a date, or just yourself — pull up a chair, pick a game, and let a cat decide it would rather sit on the board than let you finish your turn.

What makes it special:

- Two full hours to settle in, play, and hang out with our cats.

- A laid-back, welcoming vibe — great for friend groups, couples, or solo visitors looking to unwind.

- The stress-melting magic of game night plus the proven calm of time with cats.

- Every visit supports MeowTown's mission of finding cats homes and creating meaningful employment.

- When: Every Friday, 6:00–8:00 PM (2 hours).

- Price: $35 per person.

- Who: Adults and older kids who love games and cats — reserve ahead, as spots fill quickly.
